Menopause and Perimenopause Evaluation

The perimenopausal transition is defined more by pattern and time than by any single measurement, which is precisely why a rushed visit handles it badly. Cycle changes, the sequence in which things shifted, what else is going on in your life and your health, and what other conditions could produce the same picture all belong in the room. A clinician working carefully will spend much of the appointment on that history before deciding what, if anything, is worth testing.

We do not discuss treatment on this site, by phone, or anywhere else -- not what exists, not what is appropriate, not what you should ask for. Those are decisions made in person, by a licensed clinician who has evaluated you, weighing your own history against the options. What this usually involves
