Ask about follow-up before the first visit, not after it. The answer describes the whole relationship you are about to enter.
A clinic that has thought about follow-up can describe it concretely: when you are seen again, what is checked at each visit, who you see, how you reach someone between appointments, and what would prompt a change or a stop. A clinic that has not will describe it vaguely, and vagueness at the start rarely resolves into structure later.
This also matters if you already started somewhere and want to continue elsewhere, or want another clinician's view. Wanting a second opinion is an ordinary request, not a complaint. Bring whatever records and results you have so the next clinician is working from information rather than recollection, and say plainly if something about the previous arrangement did not sit right.
Tell us what you want evaluated and we will route you to a clinic. Then ask them the questions on this site before you decide anything.
Ask for a ReferralA rough description is enough -- we follow up to match you with a clinic.
