Lab Testing and Repeat Testing

Three questions cover most of it. When is the sample drawn, and does the timing matter for what is being measured? Is an unexpected or borderline result confirmed on a second draw before anyone acts on it? And who actually reads the results -- a clinician who has met you and taken your history, or a report handed back with a summary attached?

It is also fair to ask what happens to your results afterward: whether you receive a copy, whether they go to your primary care clinician if you have one, and how they are used at follow-up. We never see any of this. Hormone 801 does not order tests, does not receive results, and does not interpret anything -- we have no clinical role at any point.

What this usually involves
